Why is this course effective?
I have an in-depth knowledge of how voice and pronunciation work, extensive experience in training speakers of Russian and other languages, and the tools to help anyone improve their pronunciation. This course is the epitome of my expertise
  • Develop awareness
Your understanding of articulation will be based not on mindless imitation or vague metaphors but on clear, unambiguous instructions on how to position your tongue, lips and jaw to produce the right sound. During the course, you will develop awarenesss of your organs of speech and learn to control them more easily
  • Avoid common mistakes
Based on my experience with Russian speakers, I can foresee the mistakes they commonly make, explain what exactly causes them, and help avoid them. This will in turn equip you with tools for self-correction when speaking English
  • Apply in natural speech
You won't be drilling sounds in isolation but learning to connect sounds and words in the flow of speech. You will also explore how to move past exaggeration, feel comfortable, and sound more effortless. You will learn the principles of connected speech through practice and explore the variety of linking tools used in modern standard British accent
  • Progress step by step
The course is designed with the basic principles of learning in mind. You will gradually extend the range of sounds you can produce and see more and more familiar sounds in practice exercises. The covered material is constantly recycled and consolidated. You will also encounter and practice the same features of connected speech over and over until they become automated
  • Ensure further progress
After you will have learned to
    • consciously control your articulation,
    • understand its effect on sound,
    • notice it all in native speakers,
    • practice on a regular basis,
you will continue improving your pronunciation on your own
